The New Bobbsey Twins was a series of books attributed to Laura Lee Hope, with 30 titles published between 1987 and 1992. The books were illustrated by George Tsui (Volumes 1–3), Paul Jennis (Volumes 4–6, 9–16), Randy Berrett (Volumes 19–20, 22, 24), and David F. Henderson (Volumes 25, 28). The series was produced by Mega-Books of New York, Inc., and published as trade paperbacks by Pocket Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, under its Minstrel Books imprint.
The series was preceded by two earlier series entitled The Bobbsey Twins: one consisting of 72 hardcover volumes published between 1904 and 1979, and one consisting of 30 trade paperbacks published between 1980 and 1986.
